OPERATOR WAS TRANSPORTING PALLET OF MATERIAL. AFTER COMPLETING A 90 DEGREE TURN, HE ACCELERATED. FORKLIFT WHEELS WERE NOT COMPLETELY STRAIGHT CAUSING FORKLIFT TO SLIDE SIDEWAYS INTO EQUIPMENT WALKWAY. EMPLOYEE'S HAND SLIPPED FROM GEARSHIFT LEVER AND WAS PINNED BETWEEN WALKWAY STRUCTURE & FORKLIFT ROPS SUPPORT CAUSING A FRACTURE OF BONES.
