WHILE TRAVELLING INTO MINE A VENT PIPE HOOKED A TIMBER PUSHING THE VENT PIPE BACK HITTING THE MECHANIC ON HIS LOWER LEFT LEG. ACCIDENT IN MAIN HAULAGE DRIFT

Employee was traveling from a surface drill site back to the mine property when he made a sharp corner too fast. The UTV he was driving slid sideways on the road and turned onto it's side. The employee's left hand struck the ground or UTV fracturing his fith metacarpal in his hand.
