THE EMPLOYEE WA8 USING A PERSONNEL CARRIER TO PULL THE CONVEYOR CHAIN ON THE CONTINUOUS MINER (JOY 14-CM5) BY USING A CHAIN HOIST BETWEEN THE TWO PIECES OF EQUIPMENT. THE EMPLOYEE WAS FATALLY INJURED WHEN T2E PERSONNEL CARRIER RAN UP UNDER THEBOOM OF THE MINER.
