A FRONT LOADER OPERATOR WAS ASSIGNED TO HELP MAINTENANCE CREW ERRECT A PLATFORM TO POUR REFRACTORY IN KILN. THE HELPER WAS ON THE PLATFORM TO UNLOOSEN CHAIN, HE LOOSENED THE CHAIN, THE LOOSE END CAUGHT ON A SUPPORT ON THE PLATFORM TO MOVE SLIGHTLY, WHICH CAUSED THE HELPER TO LOSE BALANCE, FALL TO THE GROUND, A DISTANCE OF 4'6" CAUSING BRUISES TO LOWER BACK AREA.
