Employee was performing routine housekeeping; was removing dirt and rock from underneath the under-screen conveyor of the jaw. EE's shovel got caught in a return roller, which pulled EE's arm into the roller. EE freed self, but suffered major burns on right shoulder and arm.

Showing all 4I entered the machine, and my left foot pressed down on a foot control, which raise the bucket up into the air. As bucket lifted, it caught right arm and lifted me into the air. I was holding onto a side bar with my left hand, and when the bucket lifted it raised my whole body, and my left arm got pinched between the ROPS and the boom cross member.
EE was going into ramp to pick up bucket oversize rock, EE put the Cat in low gear during the initial movement into ramp whe he accidently touched left pedal with released clutch and loader started to free wheel and increased speed and hit pile of rock impact threw him forward hitting his head in corner where windshield and cab meet. Was not wearing seatbelt.
After viewing the material moving on infeed conveyor, he turned; right hand glove snagged by trough roller sucking right hand between roller and conveyor belt. The plant was in a test run after reconfiguring plant setup. There were no roller guards on that portion of the infeed conveyor. Damage to employee's hand was bruising. He was able to remove hand immediately.
