Employee was attempting to lift a tire with the truck hoist. He unhooked the hook from the truck and was holding it out to clear the truck. He accidently engaged the hoist while still holding the hook and caught his finger between the hook and the truck. He fractued his finger and needed surgery to repair torn tendons.
