THE DRIVER LIFTED THE DUMPBODY TO UNLOAD BUT FAILED TO RELEASE THE TAILGATE. BY FAILING TO RELEASE THE TAILGATE THE DUMP BODY REMAINED FULL WHILE IT WAS BEING RAISED. CONSEQUIENTLY WHEN IT REA CHED THE END OF HIS TRAVEL, IT SHEARED THE DUMP PISTON RETAINING MECHANISM. THIS CAUSED THE DUMP BODY TO SEPERATE FROM THE TRUCK WITH THE ENSUING JARRING ACTION INJURING THE DRIVER.
