Lost balance and put hand on moving conveyor. Broken fingers and laceration
Subject was clearing rock dust from discharge point between stone splitter & conveyor. He energized the conveyor in reverse & pinky finger on right hand got caught between conveyor tail & splitting machine discharge lip.
SUBJECT WAS GETTING OUT OF CAB OF FORKLIFT BY GRABBING ITS MAST AND PLACED HIS HAND (WHICH WAS GLOVED) IN A PINCH POINT RESULTING IN A SEVERE BREAK TO SEVERAL FINGERS ON THE RIGHT HAND.
