Showing all 5While loading belt into a utility car, EE claims that he raised the forks of the skid steer to adjust the belt dog and while doing so he fell from the machine and the machine lurched approx. 3' forward and ran over his foot and ankle.
EE had been riding on the step area of the Getman Tractor, from #4 belthead to the bottom of the slope. The tractor was stopped for EE to exit the tractor. After his exit, EE fell and placed , by catching himself with his right hand in a pinch point area. The tractor turned and in doing so, pinched EE's fingers.
EE was retreaving a chain from a parked scoop bucket. After he stepped out of the bucket, the scoop operator thought he was clear. The operator started the pump motor and started to back up the scoop. The scoop slid sideways and struck EE, pinning his right leg against the rib with the scoop bucket.
EE was riding on the off side of mantrip with his left foot protruding from the mantrip. EE stated he struck his toe against the rib and that caused him to twist his knee. EE went to Dr. 5/17/07 and Dr. informed EE that he had a twisted knee & needed to take 5 days off work the let knee heal.
