Haul truck driver suffered a back and neck strain during operation of a haul truck and at the time of being loaded with rockery rock from a front shovel. After loading the truck with 2 large rocks, the shovel operator started to swing and a 3rd unexpected rock rolled out of the bucket and struck the bed of the haul truck jolting the driver.

OPERATOR WAS DRIVING A 30 TON INTERNATIONAL HAULTRUCK. HE WAS WAITING AT THE CRUSHER FEED APPROACH FOR THE LOADER TO GET OUT OF THE WAY. THE LOADER BACKED DOWN THE APPROACH AND RAN INTO THE BA CK DUAL TIRES.

MOVING OTHER MATERIAL IN A LAY DOWN YARD TO GET TO A ROLL OF BELTING. EE WAS STANDING ON A PIECEOF METAL WHEN THE FORK LIFT OPERATOR MOVED ANOTHER PIECE OF METAL THAT WAS UNDER THE ONE THE EE WAS STANDING ON. THIS CAUSED THE EE TO TWIST HISR ANKLE.
