Employee was handling the suction hose on a vac truck, when the hose sucked against the wall. This caused the hose to coil with vac pressure. Employee lost grip and hands were pulled up and back toward the top of the forearms by the hose. Employee was diagnosed with a sprain to the right hand/wrist.

(He had received task training in the safe operating of the machine, including the need to keep his head, arms and legs inside the operator's compartment).

INJURED WAS MOVING BARREL LIFTS IN FEED PREP #2 WHEN THEY BECAME STUCK ON THE FORKS OF THE FORKLIFT. HE WAS MANUALLY PULLING THEM OFF THE FORKS WHEN THEY FELL CATCHING HIS FINGER.
