Showing all 3A miner that in 2009 was diagnosed with "STRAIN LUMBO SACRAL, HNP L4-5, L5-S1, RADICULOPATIA L5-S1 BILATERAL" did not report to duty on March 4, 2010. The miner was referred to El Fondo del Seguro del Estado to receive medical treatment. Allegedly the vibration of the 966C Front Loader caused by the dumping of the bucket caused the injury or aggravated his previous condition.
The miner was driving an articulated truck, and when he stopped and got down from the truck he felt a strong pain in his lower back, right leg and on the back of his neck. He was taken to El Fondo del Seguro del Estado to get treatment and is actually at rest. We still do not have a medical diagnose of his condition.
