The injured employee placed a hand on the outrigger of a service truck. Another employee retracted the outrigger, pinching a finger. Injured employee received 5 stitches.

A mechanic grabbed a structural support beam while climbing into the center section of the machine. In doing so, he dislocated his right shoulder. He was not released to return to work making this a lost time incident.

While loading a haul truck, a piece of coal fell off the bucket of a front end loader. The coal bounced off of the hand rail and broke the haul truck operator's side window. The operator received a contusion to his left shoulder. The ER physician did not allow him to return to work making this incident reportable.

The employee was driving a pick up on the train loadout access road. As he rounded a corner, his pick up was in the wrong lane for reasons that are not yet understood. The pick up collided with a 50 ton tractor trailer coal hauling rig. The employee in the pick up sustained a fractured left femur and right knee, as well as lacerations, contusions, and soft tissue injuries.
