Injured employee was walking on the opposite side of the newly installed refuse belt from a telehandler that was picking up new belt lying on the ground to place on the belt rollers. The belt slid off the forks and side of belt structure bumping the employee enough to cause employee to lose balance in the mud, twisting a knee.

Employee was running belt to check it and a lot of dust came from belt getting into EE's eyes causing redness and irritation, this belt had just been changed out is the reason for the dust in the raw coal side, EE sought treatment on 7-30-20, returned to work on 7-31-20

EE WAS OPERATING A 1995 BURGUNDY COAL TRUCK OFF THE HILL OF BANDMILL COAL HAULAGE ROAD. WE BELIEVE THAT THE EMPLOYEE WAS SHIFTING GEARS DUE TO THE FACT THAT THE TRUCK WAS FOUND TO BE IN NEUTRA L ON THE LOWSIDE. THE EE WENT 7/10 TO 9/10 OF A MILE WITH THE TRUCK IN NEUTRAL AND THE EE WAS RIDING THE BRAKES AT WHICH TIME THE EE JUMPED FROM THE TRUCK.
