Employee was picking clay balls from oversize gravel dumped out of a dump truck. EE walked up the side of pile of gravel about 3 to 4 feet, then slipped and strained and possibly tore a ligament in left knee.

According to employee, was performing morning maintenance, then he stepped down from checking radiator fluid on booster pump and twisted knee. Called MSHA# on 07/13 to report accident, Bartow FL field called back & said was not an immediately reportable accident and to fill out 7000-1 form. Called Bartow 7/21 to clarify Section B & D.
