The injured worker (IW) was moving cribbing material for a feed hopper for sand and gravel. IW had placed cribbing material into bucket of front-end loader. IW stepped backward and away from loader when EE tripped over cribbing material laying on ground nearby.

Showing all 2Injured worker (IW) stepped down (6") from elevated concrete slab. IW lost balance and fell to ground. IW fell on right shoulder. IW examined by co occupational doctor and found no injury. The latent nature of injury became apparent overtime. Surgery scheduled and completed 03/14/12. IW continued to work after initial fall until normally scheduled layoff.
