Showing all 4Employee was with a group of employees in a training class for Rail Safety. She was checking on something the instructor pointed out on a railcar and she slipped while stepping back onto a snow covered road that had some icy spots. The employee used hers arms to cushion the fall and her left arm sustained a possible fracture.
Slipped off last ladder rung coming off a 980 loader. Lost her grip and fell backwards onto the ground. Landed on rear and right side with her head bumping into a shovel leaning against the fuel trailer.
EE had just finished greasing his loader. He needed to use the rest room so he proceeded around the building to the port-a-john on the south side of the building. Left foot slid on patch of ice and he temporarily lost balance. He did not fall but felt some soreness in his lower left calf muscle soon after he slipped. (Note his shift started at 6 PM on the 17th)
