Contractor employee was walking on site and had to cross the 2-step bridge over cabling on the ground to eliminate a trip hazard. The area was icy, covered by snow. Employee slipped coming into contact with the sharp edge of the step tearing EE's leather work glove and causing a laceration to the left thumb requiring sutures to close.

Miner was pulling a stuck jackleg steel out of the rib. When steel came loose the miner fell backwards striking the edge of a bolt plate with his right elbow, resulting in a laceration.
