Employee was preparing rail car for loading after a light mist. When climbing into the gondola using the ladder on the end of the car his right foot slipped off a rung causing him to fall, landing on his feet on the ground below. In the fall his right hand struck a ladder rung on the way down breaking one bone in the back of his hand leading to his ring finger.

Injured was improperly riding a rail car in transit when the train came to a stop. He fell from the top of the car to the knuckle below, fracturing the small bone from his wrist to his little finger on his right hand.
