EE WAS HAULING LOAD TO DUMPHOPPER WHEN TRUCK ENGINE DIED FROM LACK OF FUEL. OPERATOR STATED THAT HE ENGAGED THE EMERGENCY BRAKE THAT DID NOT PREVENT THE VEHICLE FROM BACKING DOWN THE EXISTING GRADE ON THAT PORTION OF THE HAUL ROAD. WHEN TRUCK BEGAN ROLLING BACK, EE JUMPED OUT OF TRUCK AT THE HEIGHT OF 5\ INJURING HIS BACK.
