Employee was injured when he slipped and fell when he was climbing into his drilling equipment. Snow and ice conditions on the steps caused the employee to slip. He fell and hit his ribs and head when he fell. Employee was taken to a medical facility and was diagnosed with a fractured rib and bruising under the eye.

Foreman called Moriarty ambulance & EE was transferred to University Hospital (Albuq) to be checked out. It's Southway policy that any EE hurt be checked out by a Dr or ER. EE was wearing fall protection, taken off at hospital.
