EMPLOYEE LOST HIS FOOTING WHILE SHOVELING TAILING AT THE WASH PLANT AND FELL AGAINST THE STEEL RAIL OF THE ROCK CHUTE BREAKING 2 RIBS. EMPLOYEE DID NOT REALIZE HIS RIBS WERE CRACKED AND CONTR NUED TO WORK FOR 3 WEEKS UNTIL PAIN FORCED HIM TO SEE A DOCTOR. DOCTOR DIAGNOSED 2 CRACKED RIBS ON 7-7-88 AND PRESCRIBED 3 WEEKS REST.
