THE INJURED WAS3A CONTRACTOR DOING THE MINE SURVEYING. AT THE TIME OF INJURY HE HAD GONE OUTSIDE OF THE MINE TO TAKE A WORK BREAK. DURING THE WORK BREAK HE WAS SLIDING DOWN A SNOW FIELD ON HIS FEET WHEN A SU8DEN STOP CAUSED HIS LEG TO BREAK. THIS INJURY WAS UNRELATED TO HIS WORKER CONTRACT WITH GOLD STAR MINING CO.
