3 MEN WERE DRILLING HOLES IN A SECTION THAT HAD BEEN BURNED OUT. THEY WERE WORKING FROM A PLATFORM SUSPENDED FROM A CRANE DRILLING HORIZONTALLY.A CORNER OF THE BURNED OUT SECTION GAVE WAY, PUS HING THE PLATFORM AWAY FROM THE ROCK ABRUPTLY, CAUSING 3 MEN TO FALL APPROXIMATELY 8 FEET LANDING ON ROCK SURFACE. 2 WERE INJURED.

ON THE LEDGE THE CHANNEL BLOCK HAD A SLOPE TO IT. HE STEPPED ONTO THE CHANNEL BLOCK. THERE WAS LOOSE GRAVEL ON THE CHANNEL BLOCK WHICH CAUSED HIM TO SLIP AND LOOSE HIS BALANCE. HE DID NOT F ALL COMPLETELY TO THE GROUND. HE CAUGHT HIMSELF, THEREFORE TWISTING AHD JURKING HIS LOWER BACK.
