Victim climbed approx. 3 feet up crusher cribbing and fell to the concrete head first Witness to the accident says he went limp before he fell. He had a small cut at the hair line and a bloody nose. Eyes were not dilated. He said his only pain was a headache.

The operator was exiting a front end loader. When he turned to climb down ladder, his foot caught on step. He fell backwards to ground.

OPERATOR WAS DISCONNECTING MOTOR FROM GEAR BOX ON CONVEYOR APPROX. 5 FT OFF GROUND. HE UNHOOKED SAFETY LANIARD AND STARTED TO CLIMB DOWN. HE SLIPPED AND FELL ON HIS ARM AND BACK SIDE. IT WAS D ETERMINED WITH A DR VISIT THAT HIS LEFT WRIST WAS BROKEN, AND POSSIBLE BACK INJURY.
