Employee was performing his walk around when his left foot slid forward; as he was falling he was able to stabilize himself with his right leg preventing him from hitting the ground. After the event happened he felt some discomfort in lower back. Follow up with doctor on 1/22 and prescription medication was issued to help with discomfort. MRI sceduled

As the employee repositioned himself, he lost his balance and his feet slipped off the edge of the door jamb causing him to fall approximately 5' to the ground. As he fell, his back contacted the outer edge of the door jamb causing an abrasion/impact wound resulting in 3 broken ribs.
