Employee was ascending a ladder placed against a conveyor. The rear leg shifted allowing the conveyor to drop. The sudden movement caused the ladder and employee to fall. Employee fell 4-5 ft suffering an abrasion and muscular bruising and straining to lower left abdomen. Employee was able to walk on own but was taken for Xrays & CT scans which were all negative.

EMPLOYEE WAS DISMOUNTING THE ACCESS LADDER OF THE SCREENER, PLACING LEFT FOOT ON THE GROUND FIRST. WHEN EMPLOYEE REMOVED RIGHT FOOT FROM THE BOTTOM STEP OF THE LADDER EMPLOYEE'S BODY WEIGHT CAUSED THE LEFT ANKLE TO "ROLL OVER" RESULTING IN A SPRAINED ANKLE.
