EE was cleaning the windshield of his articulating truck and slipped causing him to grab the hand rail. He stated his arm began hurting but finished his shift. He latter went to a Health Care Facility and was told to stay off work for a strained arm.

Employee was working in a muddy area lifting fifty pound coal samples one at a time into the back of the company truck. As he turned to put the sample into the bed of the truck, his foot slipped in the mud, causing his lower back to twist. Employee was diagnosed with sprain/strain to his lower back.

MOVING TO LANDING AND STEPPED ON 1/2" STEEL SAFETY CABLE. CABLE BROKE UNDER HIS WEIGHT CAUSING HIM TO FALL BACKWARDS INTO PIPE WORK WITH LUGS. HIT BACK, SHOULDER, AND TAIL BONE.
