Hammering on an excavator track to install replacement track pin. Upon hammer contact with pin, a shard flew and cut through the back of gloved hand. Shard lacerated the back of the ring and pinky finger. Two stitches provided to close the skin
Chute plugged then miner quickly turned to shut down plant. In the process he twisted his knee.
