Showing all 5The miner was fabricating a metal chute using a torch and welder. As the miner was shifting the metal, the metal began to slide. The hot end of the metal came in contact with the miner's belly causing a small burn.
EMPLOYEE WAS SWINGING HAMMER, FELT STRAIN IN BACK.
Employee had climbed off of WA600 loader and with both feet on the ground turned to walk to shop and injured his knee.
Rock was blasted at excavation site. Employee was estimated 300 ft from blast site.Dirt pocket in shot resulted in blow out of flying rocks. Employee was hit in left forearm.
