Showing all 7Working in a squatting position for 30 - 40 minutes wiring a crusher motor. Knee began to ache but finished up the shift. Pain intensified on the way home.
Employee received an electrical shock after touching a power line while cleaning out a drop chute. Employee was sent to the hospital for burns on both hands and an exit injury on the right leg.
The employee was beginning to climb down a set of steps from a work platform when the platform tilted causing a loss of balance. As the individual attempted to secure himself, he fell on his back which ultimately resulted in pain to the back and neck.
The injured individual was attempting to descend from a piece of chute work onto a tail roller guard following a repair when he found himself to be slipping. He then proceeded to jump from the tail roller guard as opposed to falling from a distance of 4'7" to the concrete pad. The impact ultimately resulted in a fracture to the right heel.
The injured employee was attempting to remove excess coal buildup from a transfer chute when he slipped and struck his right shoulder on the chute structure ultimately resulting in a contusion.
While crossing the handrails, his hand slipped and he fell against the rails.
