Plant laborer was working to clear rock that had plugged the top deck discharge chute on the #1 screen using a shovel. While dislodging the rocks, they came loose with one bouncing up and hitting EE's hand where EE was holding the shovel which resulted in a laceration to the right hand.

Showing all 2Plant mechanic was working to clear a rock lodged in the tail pulley of a conveyor. Equipment was off and locked out and tagged out. Using a breaker bar to pry loose the rock, the miner lost his grip on the bar and fell backward but his left foot remained planted as his body twisted. This resulted in the dislocation of his left ankle and broken left foot.
