Employee was filling water tote on the back of a pickup and jumped off of truck spraining their left ankle. Worked until 12:15pm and wanted to get ankle checked out.

Showing all 5While performing general maintenance on a Concrete Truck (TR-01) employee felt a pop in left shoulder. Employee was using a sledge hammer to free up hardened concrete on the back auger chute when accident occurred.
Tech was remove grill from D8R, standing in front of machine. EE was removing bolts from hinges, EE wasn't aware one of the pins was missing from hinges. caused the grill 102 lbs to fall striking tech on left foot behind steel toe portion of boot. At the time, they felt fine the incident was considered a near miss. next day employee had bruising and called WP for assistance.
A customer truck was loaded on site. Driver parked at workshop area. EE got out to secure load tarp. While stepping down off truck, EE twisted ankle and fell to ground. EE was found on the ground with pain in EE's left ankle. Not life threatening and was able to be driven to local medical center.
Miner injured hand while assembling conveyor. Hoisting strap moved during lift, resulting in cut on miner's hand. Miner was working too near lifting straps. Miner received stitches, and is expected to make full recovery per doctor's.
