Changing screens at the quarry, the screen slipped out of EE's hands & cut EE's right hand.

EE was working in hopper & noticed the breaker had slipped. Went into electrical building & opened electrical box & noticed a fuse that was loose. EE smacked it w/hand & fire came out of box. EE thought EE had turned breaker off before EE touched it. EE also thought EE was fine, but looked down & saw blood dripping from arm. Had to go to ER & received 6 stitches in L arm.

This description/recount is told to me by an ee. According to that ee at approximately 1:00pm he along with another ee were assisting the mechanic who was doing maintenance on the screen. EE and another ee were pulling the motor up. EE got his (L) hand caught between the cable and the pulley. EE was taken to LaFallette Medical Venter ER.

EE called me @ 7:40am and reported to me that he came into work @ the quarry @ 6:30am. He stated that he began cranking the water pump and, immediately, pain shot into the lower left side of his back. EE went to see Dr. @ 3:30pm on the same days of his injury.
