Auger was maintained and as machine was being lowered to move over, employee walked up to machine and put his left foot 2" under the frame of the auger. He had steel toe boots on whereas the steel toe was not crushed but the bottom of the boot came up crushing the tip of his toe.

EE WAS TURNING OFF MASTER SWITCH ON BACK OF MACHINE TURNING SIDEWAYS IN CONJUNCTION WITH HIGHWALL WHEN LOOSE DIRT & ROCK FELL APPROXIMATELY 50 FEET OFF HIGHWALL STRIKING THE STRING OF STEEL AND GLANCING OFF AND HITTING HIM IN THE LEFT SHOULDER. HE WAS 18 TO 29 FEET FROM HIGHWALL WHEN THIS HAPPENED.
