One miner was driving wedges into back to hang utilities from, axe the miner was using slipped from his hand and struck another miner in the face. It put a cut on the right upper part of his cheek, it required 3 stitches and a tetnus shot.

Attempting to drive a split bolt with jack leg, the bolt driver on jack leg slipped out of bolt causing miner to get his finger caught between jack leg and bolt, this caused a cut on the left hand middle finger, which required 6 stitches.
