While clearing brush, the employee got a wood shaving beneath their face shield and safety glasses, causing irritation to their left eye. Employee was evaluated by a physician and prescribed medicated eye drops. No lost workdays or restricted duty resulted.

Showing all 3The employee was manually operating a GOAB switch when an overhead porcelain insulator broke into multiple small pieces. One piece fell and knocked off the employee's hard hat. A second piece fell and made contact with the right side of EE's head, near the hairline, resulting in a laceration that required medical glue for treatment.
Employee was diagnosed with bilateral carpal tunnel, requiring surgical repair. Surgery on the right wrist has been completed. The left wrist is unscheduled at this time. **Left wrist scheduled for surgery, completed on 03/26/2021.**
