Employee was clearing guards of material by hitting them with a hammer. Employee decided to clear one return roller of mud, got underneath conveyor, reached over the guard that is in place and started hitting roller with hammer. The roller caught employee's glove and pulled employee in, up to employee's shoulder. Conveyor stopped, preventing further injury.
Employee was splicing a cable. Holding the splicing tube in one hand and tightening the screws with the other, the screw slipped and punctured a hand.
