Showing all 5After replacing the conveyor belt on an ADDCAR conveyor car, the employee was tightening the belt by pumping grease into take-up cylinders. They stopped to check the tightness of the belt when they heard a loud "pop" and grease had entered into two fingers of right hand.
After employee finished installing both belt splice hinges onto conveyor belt, EE then proceeded to pick up the nails that break off the splice rivets after installation. While doing this, EE struck EE's hand on the corner of the splice fixture causing laceration to palm.
Employee overexerted their back while turning a cutterhead.
Employee was helping others to manually turn the cutterhead on highwall mining cutter module for servicing when employee felt a "pop" in lower back.
