Employee was traveling on foot in the #4 entry and stepped in a hole/ledge in the mine floor. EE reports feeling a 'popping' sensation in their right ankle. EE was transported by ambulance to the hospital where diagnostics revealed a fracture to their right fibula. EE was fitted with a walking boot and released pending consultation with an Orthopedic specialist.
