Unclear at this time. While inspecting equipment prior to crushing, EE stated he heard a noise coming from the feeder motor. Power off/locked out, he attempted to rotate a pulley belt to replicate noise. Belt rolled backwards pinching the second finger on his left hand between the belt and pulley.
