Showing all 3A rock lodged behind a hopper wall three feet above and to the right of the miner's right foot slid and struck the foot in the inseam behind his right toe. First aid for minor bleeding was given and the miner was driven to a Care Now Facility. It is not known at this time whether the injury will heal itself over time or will need to be surgically repaired.
