Showing all 5EE was loading a bucket with stone when he picked up a stone and turned to throw it in the bucket. He heard a pop sound and had pain in his lower back. After medical evaluation by his dr. He was diagnosed with a back sprain.
While splitting stone, he knelt down and pulled a stone toward his body. He felt a sharp pain in the center of his shoulder blade. He leaned back and felt pain in lower back and felt nauseous. Worker was wearing back support brace.
Bruised left hand when struck with 2 lb hammer. Done while splitting stone with hammer & chisel. Hand swelled overnight and went to clinic on 11/9/05.
