The miner was walking under the primary crushed stone plant when an approximately 3" stone fell from the conveyor belt and hit his hardhat and took a part of the neck area. The miner was immediately taken to the hospital where medical attention was provided. The tests showed a bruise on the neck area. The miner was sent home to rest.

Showing all 4The miner was performing repairs on a feeder. A loader operator threw 3' material on feeder by mistake making an entrapment. The trapped miner was removed quickly from the feeder without injuries. Paramedics rushed to the site and examined the miner and luckily there were no injuries. The miner is in good health and was sent home for rest.
The operator began some repairs to the hydraulic hammer of a Komatsu excavator and suffered back pain because of the position he was in. He continued working with some pain but reported the injury and left the worksite immediately after the pain worsened.
