Cat 325 Trac Hoe operated by an EE was attempting to hook up a pontoon to be moved and when swung the bucket a few inches and struck the top of IE's hard hat as EE was bent over preparing to hook up the lifting strap.

Employee opened the right door of dredge cabin to inspect the dredge pump. The tailpipe that is connected to a 90 degrees elbow with a rubber sleeve blew apart spraying pressurized material on the door which contacted the employee on his right side, causing soreness.

The chain supporting the lower unit came unhooked allowing the lower unit to fall. The lower unit struck the employee on the right leg fracturing the femur.

Employee states he was running the rock crusher and he was shoveling. He started getting sharp pain from lower back to the hip. He was able to complete the shift. He was working five conveyor belts that you have to check and shovel under.

THE EE WAS REMOVING THE SAND TROUGH. THE SAND TROUGH WAS BEING SUPPORTED WITH A CHAIN ATTACHED TO ANGLE IRON ON THE TROUGH AND HELD BY A TRACKHOE. THE WELD ON THE ANGLE IRON BROKE. THIS CAUSED THE SAND TROUGH TO FALL AND STRIKE EE'S LEFT BIG TOE.

EE WAS DRIVING AN ATV VEHICLE TO THE BACK SIDE OF THE GRAVEL PIT TO CHECK ON TWO EMPLOYEES STOCKPILING MATERIAL. HE WAS RETURNING TO THE PIT OFFICE WHEN HE DECIDED TO TAKE A SHORTER ROUTE CROS SING OVER A BERMED ROADWAY CAUSING THE ATV TO TURN OVER RESULTING IN PAIN TO HIS CHEST AND NECK.
