Employee was trying to start a fuel truck. The battery/battery box that was on his dozer fell and landed on his left hand.

Barton Mining Company · Over-exertion (Not Elsewhere Classified)

On 1-9-2006 employee was loading holes at a shot location and injured left shoulder. The next day the employee was using a pry bar on a drill steel and injured right shoulder. MRI was performed and Doctor diagnosed rotator cuff injury of both shoulders. Reported information to employer on 1-25-2006. First lost day was 1-11-2006.

Barton Mining Company · Struck against a moving object

Employee was operating a Cat D11N dozer pushing rock towards a Komatsu loader when the highwall fell on the right side and partially covered up the machine. The operator was entrapped a short period of time and extracated himself by kicking out the window glass on the oposite door.
