Was tramming #10 mantrip inby traveling and heard a loud noise that came from the batteries. Stopped the mantrip, knocked the breaker, set the brake and got out of the mantrip. Stood up his foot slipped causing left knee to twist and pop. Has starting PT on 8/12/10 therefore making it a reportable accident. Member continues to work as scheduled.
A member of the mine rescue team was walking with MSHA and State Investigators during examination of the mine accident on 4-5-2010. While walking in #1 entry inby 78 break airlock at 10 break he stepped on a cinder block and turned his left ankle. He continued his shift and performed mine rescue duties until 7-6-2010 and has begun physical therapy for a sprain.
