Martin Marietta Materials, Inc. · Struck against a moving object

Employee was operating a skid loader with a modified bucket cleaning up around the plant. The extension on the bucket caught the ground and stopped the skid loader abruptly. The employee struck his head against the top of the cab causing a neck strain. EE went requested to see a doctor on 08/31/2006. EE was directed to physical therapy on 09/25/2006 making the injury reportable.

EE was attempting to unplug the primary.He was turning the spinner when it became jammed again. The EE put more pressure on the 30' pry bar to move the spinner. The bar slipped striking the EE in the mouth and breaking off one of his teeth.
