Struck by falling object

Employee was walking at the plant facilities, a cornerstone of the crane collapsed, hitting the employee directly to the body and falling down. Employee was wearing safety equipment as required (capacete). Received multiple injuries to the upper and lower body.

Employee was adjusting excavator screws with an industrial cricket when he hit his face on the left side. He feels intense pain on the left side of his face.

EE was ""enangotado"" adjusting motor screws with an industrial cricket at the primary crusher plant, when he stood up, he felt pain in the lower back and his left leg.

The employee was going up the stairs to the plant control room when he slipped and injured his right knee. He feels lots of pain and his knee is swollen.

The employee was leaving the clarifier area when he slipped and fell due to the polimers residue on the floor. He injured his right shoulder, right wrist, his back and right leg.

The employee was cleaning the plant floor. When he bent down to pick up a sack of material, he slipped falling sideways injuring his right shoulder, his neck and back.

The EE was adjusting some screws on the disks brakes of an article truck (#350). The screw driver broke, cutting his right hand thumb. They gave him 5 stitches.

Fall from machine

The employee was removing a ladder from the press machine to put near the boom truck. When he tried to do it, the ladder slipped and he jumped out off the truck. He was impacted to his left lateral side and they took 108 stitches.

Caught in, under or between running or meshing objects

The employee was helping another employee installing a belt on the Press. As they started to work on it, the equipment operator activated the conveyor by mistake causing another employee to fall in the conveyor. The employee tried to help his co-worker and he was injured with the conveyor causing him a fracture on his pelvis, back pain and injuries on his legs.

THE EE WAS LIFTING SOME HEAVY BASES IN ORDER TO PLACE THEM IN THE ""SCARPER"" (A MACHINE THAT SEPARATES THE SMALL STONES FROM THE LARGE ONES) AND HE FELT A SEVERE PAIN IN HIS LOWER BACK. HE CAN HARDLY WALK DUE TO THE PAIN.

The ee was walking toward his work area, and passing near the secondary crusher, he felt the impact of an artifact on the back of his head. This produced a wound in his left/ back side of his head in spite of wearing a hard hat.

WHEN THE EMPLOYEE WAS TRAVELING FROM ONE PLANT TO ANOTHER, THE COMPANY CAR GOT VERY HOT. HE GOT OUT OF THE CAR TO INSPECT THE PROBLEM. WHEN HE REMOVED THE LID OF THE RADIATOR THE PRESSURE OF T HE VAPOR CAUSED A SQUIRT OF HOT WATER THAT REACHED HIS RIGHT SIDE OF THE FACE, EYE AND HEAD, CAUSING BURNS IN THESE AREAS.

THE EE ALLEGES THAT HE WAS REPAIRING ELECTRICAL CABLES OF THE CONVEYOR, HAVING TURNED OFF THE BREAKERS, IN ORDER TO FIX THEM AND WRAP THE CABLES WITH TAPE, WHEN HE TURNED ON THE BREAKERS, HE R ECEIVED AN ELECTRICAL IMPACT, AND WAS THROWN TO THE GROUND AND GOT THREE BURNS ON HIS LEFT HAND (THUMB, INDEX AND MIDDLE FINGERS.)

THE EMPLOYEE WAS CLOSING A CRUSHER WITH A WRENCH, THE WRENCH FELL, THEN THE LID OF THE CRUSHER OPENED AND THE EMPLOYEE FELL ON TOP OF A MOTOR AND THE DOOR OF THE CRUSHER FELL ON HIS LEG, HURTI NG HIS RIGHT KNEE.

THE EMPLOYEE WAS INSPECTING THE AREA TO TRACE THE PATH FOR A NEW ROAD, AND HE WAS CLIMBING THE MOGOTE (HILL) #2 OF CAROLINA LANDFILL, HE SLIPPED OVER A LOOSE ROCK AND IMPACTED HIS RIGHT KNEE W ITH THE EDGE OF A ROCK THAT WAS ON THE FLOOR.

EMPLOYEE ALLEGES THAT FOR A LONG TIME HE IS SUFFERING FROM STRONG HEADACHES AND HE FEELS CONGESTION IN THE FRONTAL PART OF HIS FACE. SOMETIMES HE GETS DIZZY. HE ALLEGES THAT IT IS DUE TO THE DUST AT QUARRY.
