Accident type, without injuries

At 07:30 pm a supervisor noticed coal smoldering on the southeast corner of the east side pile in the coal storage building. Supervisor ordered a loader to start to open the pile up. At 11:20 pm the smolder was smothered.

Maintenance helper holding a plate on a bearing being installed on a screen was struck in the left thumb with hammer by other worker resulting in 6 stitches

Employee while grinding lost body position with grinder and lacerated left pointer finger, left and right thigh, and sprained right knee

While kneeling on right knee, went to stand-up. Left knee popped causing pain to outer knee area.

Supervisor was switching off the O2 conveyor at end of shift and was stung by a wasp.
